Social Work Partners are currently recruiting for a Children’s Social Worker within Greater Manchester to join a MASH Team. You must be registered with Social Work England and have at least 1 years experience working within the UK in Children’s Social Work Teams post qualifying.
About the Role:
You will be working with colleagues who are passionate about delivering the best possible service to children, young people and their families. Your responsibilities in this role will be:
- Working with young people in families in immediate crisis
- Good threshold knowledge
- Relevant experience within a Child protection/safeguarding setting
- Maintaining relationships with a variety of different teams and local authorities
- Gathering and collating relevant information with our partner agencies.
- Analysing the information to make professional judgements and recommendations
- Good evidenced based decision making with the ability to work autonomously
- ability to work flexibly in line with service needs
- You will be responsible for ensuring timely recommendations informs delivery of services for children
