Social Work Partners are currently recruiting for a Deputy Team Manager (Adults) within Greater Manchester. You must be registered with Social Work England to apply for this role.

 

About the Role:

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion for working with adults with Learning Disabilities, understanding their needs, aspirations and supporting them to enhance their quality of life, and supporting the multidisciplinary team with complex decision making and promoting the organisations strategic aims.

We are offering the opportunity to join a focused and dynamic team who are involved in the assessment and development of a wider range of services in Greater Manchester to meet the current and future needs of local people who have a learning disability.

We are a large multidisciplinary team involved in complex areas of work and so there are many opportunities to be involved in formal decision-making forums and court processes.

You will have experience of management in social care (preferably within adults services), the ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members, external organisations, service users and carers. You will have an understanding of departmental policies and procedures in the management of staff and complaints.

Key duties

To do everything possible to ensure the team provides an efficient and effective service to the residents of Bolton and to support the Team Manager.

The management of staff providing an efficient and effective Assessment and Care Management Service: staff supervision, scrutinising and authorising assessments and support plans, providing advice and guidance, problem solving.

Assisting Team Manager in the management of the Care Management and multidisciplinary team functions.

To support and manage the implementation of projects and efficiency plans.
