We are looking to recruit a Group Manager for a newly formed and developing Multi-Disciplinary Service within Medway Children Services. The successful candidate will be working in a developing service with some well-established teams such as the Family Group Conferencing team and some newly formed teams such as the Adolescent and Neglect Multi-Disciplinary Teams and Specialist Parenting Assessment team.
You will be part of the Provider Services alongside the Fostering and Youth Service.

Role Details
- £49,437 – £53,524 per annum + £7,000 market premia + £3,000 retention payment paid annually after 1 years’ service
Requirements
- Registration with Social Work England
- Demonstrable post qualification experience of working with children and families
- Proven track record in strategic planning and leadership
- Substantial post qualifying experience of managing social work teams and proven experience in managing multi agency partners
- Proven experience in the application of ‘Signs of Safety’ or a willingness to be trained
- Substantial experience in child protection and court work.
- Proven experience in delivering professional supervision to social work practitioners
- Proven experience of performance management.
- Proven experience of managing team budgets efficiently and effectively
